Bio
Daryin Lewis, a native of Circleville, OH., is a 2017 Alum of the University of Rio Grande. Lewis graduated with a bachelor's degree in business management. Lewis was a 4-year starter from 2013-2017. During this time, Lewis became very decorated. His list of awards and achievements: 1st Team All KIAC for Utility (2015), 1st Team All KIAC for Pitching (2016), 2nd Team All KIAC for 3rd base (2016), Honorable Mention All American (2016), 1st Team All RSC for Pitcher (2017), 1st Team All RSC for 3rd base (2017), Conference Pitcher of The Year (2017), 2015 KIAC Champion, 2016 KIAC Champion.
While at Rio, Daryin Lewis played for the Champion City Kings for one year and the Chillicothe Paints for two years. After graduating college in 2017, Lewis coached Post 134 Baseball (18u) for a year. That year, they won the American Legion State Tournament. Once Lewis found his love for coaching, he took on the Head Coaching position for softball at Ohio Christian University. While at the University, he led the team to break several school records and received River State Conference “Coach of The Year” (2022). Ohio Christian was projected to finish second to last in conference that year and finished 3rd overall in the regular season. During the 2024 summer season, Daryin was the field manager of the Chillicothe Paints, going 36-20.
