Rio's Kerns named RSC Runner of the Week

     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - University of Rio Grande junior Amarissa Kerns was named the River States Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Monday.
     The Lancaster, Ohio native was the top NAIA runner at the All-Ohio Cross Country Championship, placing eighth overall on the 6k course at Cedarville University.
     Kerns clocked in at a school-record time of 22:55.3 and was one of just nine of the 314 runners in attendance to run the course in under 23 minutes.
