RedStorm's Rarick, McLoughlin honored by RSC

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - University of Rio Grande standouts Amanda Rarick and Elle McLoughlin have been honored as the River States Conference Women's Volleyball Attacker and Setter of the Week, respectively.
League officials made the announcement Monday evening.
Rarick, a senior outside hitter from Canal Winchester, Ohio had a nice week at the net for the RedStorm, who went 3-1 in a tournament hosted by Indiana Tech.
Rarick hit double figures in kills in each of Rio's four matches and recorded an attack percentage of at least .300 in each match.
McLoughlin, a junior setter from Zanesville, Ohio, won her third straight RSC Setter of the Week award, as she continued to do a bit of everything for the RedStorm.
In just 15 matches this season, McLaughlin already has more than 500 assists, with more than nine per set. In her team's four matches over the weekend, she racked up 111 assists, 28 digs, 10 kills and six blocks.
