     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - University of Rio Grande junior Grace Forrest was named the River States Conference Female Indoor Track Athlete of the Week on Monday.
     The award was inclusive of all events from the start of the season through last weekend's action.
     Forrest, a native of Woodstock, Ohio, essentially punched her ticket to the NAIA Indoor Nationals on December 6, shattering the NAIA "A" standard with a time of 14:56.61 in the 3,000-meter race walk.
     Forrest's time, which ranks second in the nation in the event and is the top time in the River States Conference this season, also set a new school record.
