WINONA LAKES, Ind. - Cassidy Felger scored two goals and assisted on another as Grace College rolled to a 5-0 win over the University of Rio Grande, Saturday afternoon, in non-conference women's soccer action at 1st Source Bank Field.
The host Lancers improved to 4-0 with the victory.
The RedStorm slipped to 2-2 with a second straight shutout loss.
Rio Grande managed just one shot - not on goal - in the contest.
Grace tallied 18 total shots and 12 tries on frame, as well as all three corner kick chances in the match.
Abby Hodkin scored what proved to be the only goal the Lancers would need - thanks to a feed by Lilli Oberhoff - just 4:44 into the match.
Felger added each of the game's next two goals.
The first came 10-1/2 minutes after Hodkin's icebreaker, while the other occurred just over 17 minutes into the second period.
Ellie Grieser scored one of the Lancers' final two goals - thanks to an assist by Felger - and assisted on the other by Feline Abbo.
Zoe Mueller had the assist on Felger's first goal, while Jaylin Young and Madelief Lowik were credited with a dual assist on the other.
Sofia Williams got the win in goal for Grace.
Senior Alba Vilades Marin (Barcelona, Spain) had seven saves in the loss for Rio Grande.
The RedStorm is scheduled to return to action on Monday, hosting Cleary (Mich.) University in a Labor Day matinee matchup.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Evan E. Davis Field.
