Rio's Ogden honored by RSC for third time

     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - Madison Ogden from the University of Rio Grande is the River States Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for March 11-17.
     The junior right-hander from Williamsburg, Ohio captured the award for the third time this season after spinning three shutouts in as many starts on the week.
     Ogden had a 0.00 ERA in 21.0 innings during the three complete games. She gave up just seven hits with 28 strikeouts and three walks.
     First was a 7-0 win over Brescia (Ky.) with three hits and 11 strikeouts. Then came a 6-0 victory over Ohio Christian with a 1-hitter, no walks and five strikeouts. She finished up with a 2-0 win over Point Park (Pa.) with three hits allowed and 12 Ks.
