Bio

     Markko is in his first year as a member of the RedStorm coaching staff, where he also serves as the program's recruiting director.
     A native of Chillicothe, Ohio and a graduate of Unioto High School, Markko is a USATF certified coach and a USATF Women's 6k Elite Athlete Coordinator.
     Markko ran collegiately at both Malone University and Campbell (N.C.) University. He was a three-time captain and four-time varsity scorer at Malone, where he is also the school record holder in the Distance Medley Relay.
     He was also a multiple-time All-Ohio honoree in both cross country and track during his high school career.
     Markko is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Business Administration at Rio Grande.
