RedStorm's Butler receives RSC weekly honor

     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - University of Rio Grande senior guard Eric Butler was named the River States Conference Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
     The Orlando, Fla. native led the RedStorm to their second road win over a Top 10 foe this season, with Saturday's 83-78 victory over No. 9 Cumberlands on the road.
     Butler scored 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting, adding six rebounds and two assists. He knocked two three-pointers in the victory, and was perfect from the foul line.
     The victory extended Rio's winning streak to eight games.
