The University of Rio Grande provides its athletes with some of the best indoor and outdoor facilities in the River States Conference.
Paul R. Lyne Physical Education Center
The Paul R. Lyne Physical Education Center is home to the university's health and physical education, intercollegiate and intramural athletic programs.
Newt Oliver Arena
The Newt Oliver Arena, located inside Lyne Center, is the home of floor of the RedStorm men's and women's basketball and volleyball team's. "The Newt," named in honor a former Rio coach who led the famous Bevo Francis teams of 1952-54. Newt Oliver Arena was dedicated in 1997. It seats 2,000 and is equipped with locker room facilities and a training room, which were remodeled in 1997 thanks to a donation made by Rio Grande alumnus Ronald K. Glover.
Inside the Lyne Center
Lyne Center also houses a state-of-the-art fitness center with free weights and exercise machines, a racquetball court, a swimming pool, two-collegiate-sized basketball courts and additional locker room facilities. The National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) recognized Lyne Center as one of the "Top 13 Facilities in America" in 1996.

Tru-Golf Simulator
The University of Rio Grande's Golf teams had an upgrade in March of 2022 with a Tru-golf simulator. This simulator has 96 golf courses that our golf teams can play.
Outdoor Facilities- Stanley L. Evans Memorial Athletic Complex
Rio Grande's outdoor facilities were dedicated in 1973. The Cross Country Course, Softball Field, Evan E Davis Soccer field, Rugby Field and Bob Evans Baseball Field are located within the complex.
Evan E. Davis Soccer Field
In 2016, the playing surfaces had a make over and are now Berumda grass, This facility and surface is one of the top natural playing surfaces in the nation. Along with the game field, there are 2 practice fields, also pictured above.
Bob Evans Baseball Field
The Bob Evans Baseball field has had a playing surface update to Bermuda grass. The infield was completed in summer of 2021, while the outfield was completed in the summer of 2022. The fence sits at 320' down the right field line, 353' in right center field, 383' in center field, 353' in left center field, 330' down the left field line. Also pictured above is the practice field. It is an all grass field, other than 4 turf areas for the bases and a dirt mound.

The Stockmeister Track & Field
The Stockmeister Track & Field complex, dedicated April 21, 1999, is a 400-meter track with eight lanes, three pole vault areas, two long jump areas, two discus areas, two shot put areas, one steeplechase and sites for field events. It is one of five track and field facilities in the country to receive the US Tennis Court and Track Builders Association's Outstanding Track Facility Award. The award is in recognition of the complex's design and construction.

Constructed in the summer of 2020 and located in the second floor of Bob Evan's Farm Hall.
